My name is Dongwei Sun (孙冬伟), a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science and Technology at Xi'an Jiaotong University.
My research interests primarily focus on Remote Sensing/Medical Image Processing and Multimodal Machine Learning.
Prior to joining Xi'an Jiaotong University, I obtained a Master's degree in Computational Mathematics from Northwestern Polytechnical University. I have worked in industry for more than two years, focusing on the design and deployment of AI algorithms tailored to specific tasks and scenarios.

The Speech of Space Shuttle Challenger Explosion
On January 28, 1986, the Space Shuttle Challenger broke apart 73 seconds into its flight, killing all seven crew members aboard. The spacecraft disintegrated 46,000 feet (14 km) above the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of Cape Canaveral, Florida, at 11:39 a.m. EST (16:39 UTC). It was the first fatal accident involving an American spacecraft while in flight.
